The Man in the mirror…
I went to see the new Michael jackson movie, it was pretty good, it made me realize how much i loved that music as a kid (and still do). I was good today with my eating BUT i didnt get to the gym! I had oatmeal for breakfast, salad for lunch, veggie w light ranch dip, some low fat cheese. Then i had a chicken shiskabob at about 5 in the city. Then I had a chef salad for dinner. I thought i would crave a pastrami sandwich but i didnt. I went there with a plan and i stuck to it, i did have a cup of NE clam chowder and then at the movie i split a small popcorn with my friend Robert. I went to the movie with him and my big brother. I had a jam packed day, i went to work, i got out and had to go to the city to pick up headshots and bring them to my managers office. Then by the time i got back i had no time for the gym and had to head out to meet the guys for dinner. I will have the time to go tommorow and i will. I have to make a new plan during the week. I would like to say i will go in the moring but i have enough trouble getting out of bed to go to work. I dont know how im gonna get around this one but i’ll figure it out. I am going to go tommorow, one day at a time, right? I think i am going to have to weigh in soon, the suspense is killing me!! Here is another old pic, i remember seeing the pic 13 years ago and thinking i looked fat… I Wish!! until next time…

Hi. Sorry to catch you off-guard and surprise you by responding to your blog, but I coudn’t resist responding. I just had to.
I am happy that you are finally being proactive and recognizing the health factors that tend to shadow unhealthy eating and an inactive lifestyle. Given your thoughts regarding health history, I think you are taking a step in the right direction. And your dad would be proud.
I have read your posts and believe you are making major changes to your eating habits, which is great. It’s never too late. I enjoyed seeing what used to be my favorite pics. Pics of the man I fell in love with before I had met him…was reminiscent and nice to see after all these years.
I started a blog of my own in August. I will share the link with you, so you can check it out. Please email me if you would like the link. Your blog is very similar; perhaps some of the realizations I had will inspire you, eating tips will advise you, etc. If you go back to my September posts, that’s where a lot of tips were posted , from a friend who eats super healthy, bodybuilds, and has abs lol. Most important things I learned from her were incorporating nuts, berries, and fish. Also, avoiding sugar, soda, and bad processed foods. More expensive and more trips to supermarket, but worth it. I abstain from wheat, since pizza, pasta, bread were my sinful favorites. I don’t wish to continue talking about me, you can read about me on my blog. This comment is about you, for you.
I hope you can excuse me for checking up on you and taking interest in your blog. As I said last we talked, recognizing your struggles is one thing, but being proactive and taking steps to implement new behaviors and habits is what really counts. Congratulations on your conscious choice and strong will.
